An overview of steps to start exchanging data and order related messages with your Trading Partners using Onetrail. 











Step 1. Project kick-off

Condition

Customer has signed up with Onetrail

Goal

Initiate project

Steps

  • Finalize requirements and design
  • Customer prepares project plan
  • Onetrail agrees upon project plan

Parallel and multi-phase project approach

The steps describe a sequential process, in practice some steps can be run in parallel (i.e. message development and connectivity test).
Also a multi-phase approach can be followed by splitting up the project into smaller pieces (i.e. first implement the product data exchange and then the order data exchange).

Step 2. Trading partner set-up

To set-up the trading partner in Onetrail

  • Enter and send trading partner registration form
  • Set-up GLN's for trading partner
  • Enable communication for trading partner in Onetrail
