Put an order on-hold
You can put an order on-hold to sort out price differences, check delivery-date with your supplier or any other thing that takes some time.
- Go to the your order detail screen with the actual purchase order details;
- Enter your Sales Order Number;
- Enter the reason;
- Press
Save changes.
Result
Order status shows 
= Line is on-hold
Release an order after on-hold
After putting the order on-hold, you have to release the order to perform the required changes or confirmation.
- Go to the your order detail screen with the actual purchase order details;
- Go to the order with the on-hold status ;
- Select
Release order;
You can now apply the changes to the order or save directly without changes. - Press Save changes.
Result
Order status shows 
= Line confirmed without changes
OR
Order status shows 
= Line is confirmed with changes
